Mapping Subsurface Seepage Flow Patterns in Proximity to a Coal Combustion Residual Landfill Using Electrical Resistivity Tomography

Electrical resistivity tomography data were acquired in proximity to the coal combustion residual landfill an effort image and analyze seepage pathways through shallow soil underlying karsted limestone bedrock. The water table is at a depth of more than 45 m. most prominent subsurface identified on electrical are located immediately adjacent toe attributed stormwater run-off. moisture content appears decrease gradually with increasing distance from landfill, suggesting there also horizontal component flow subsurface. Shallow higher generally underlies or close anthropogenic features such as drainage ditches clay berms that designed channel At one location, along essentially same traverse different times year, overall was lower after heavy rains.
